SSG Adviser presents official list of candidates

 per Division Memorandum No. 75, s. 2020 also known as Synchronized Election for Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme Student Government (SSG) for School Year 2020-2021, Anda Integrated School had presented its list of candidates.

Guidelines and qualifications were discussed by Maria Angelica Castillo before the filing of candidacy. Also, aspirants were asked to submit certificate of candidacy, parent consent, recent photograph, official copy of the Report Card for the current school year and two recommendation letters from two individuals whom the candidate has worked with in a co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Two parties emerged in the filing of candidacy. One as MMK known as Mapagkakatiwalang at Maasahang mga Kabataan headed by John Carlo Guarin and another one represented by Ian Yaranon with the Partylist's name, ACTS.

PSDS Ampler conducts initial internal audit

As per RA 9155 or also known as the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 and guided by its implementing rules and regulations, Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Edwin A. Ampler checked on the school existing situation of Anda Integrated School on February 5, 2020.

In his visit, high school teaching personnel were asked on their baccalaureate major and minor courses. Teachers were also asked on their teaching loads and ancillary services being handled.

Aside from knowing the optimal utilization of the school’s personnel, he also checked on the students’ performance in terms of attendance. Interventions on students’ absenteeism were given by the respective advisers to maximize school participation and completion.

In addition to the internal audit, Dr. Ampler has also suggested ideas on improving educational outcomes as well as the school’s preparation on having an ISO Certification.

Benchmarking to promote quality service

Guided with this adage, benchmarking among other institutions is made in order to get at par with the process of providing quality education and quality customer services.

Yesterday, February 4, Saint Nicholas Catholic School of Anda (SNSCA) formerly known as Anda Institute had benchmarked in Anda Integrated School. With the knowledge that SDO 1 Pangasinan has been an ISO Certified and its different schools are geared on being certified as well, private  counterparts in the education industry are also aiming to be within the pace of ISO journey.


Aside from knowing a glimpse of the internal procedure, a tour to some of the classrooms of high school department was made by SNSCA's principal and directress Sister Aida R. Sabordo, SSA.

Anda IS attends WSO Training

Anda District Training on Workplace Safety Organization was conducted on December 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2019 held at Anda Integrated School and Anda Training Center. Each school has sent teacher representatives to attend the seminar including its school head. 
The first day of the training was held at Anda Integrated School. It started with the singing of the National Anthem followed by a short prayer then a Zumba dance as an energizer. Participants were welcomed by District Supervisor Dr. Edwin A. Ampler. After that, Rosario C. Casana discussed the things to expect in the said training. 
The first speaker was Carl John Carolino who talked about Setting the Mind Toward Excellence. He also talked about the Four Pillars of Innovation which Includes Leadership, Cultures and Climate, Structures and Processes and the people.
The second day of the training commenced with the singing of the National Anthem followed by a prayer and an energizer. Carolino has been the first speaker and discussed about the Attributes of people in Creative Schools. Attendees learned about continuous improvement skills, implementation abilities and risk taking capabilities and relationship building skills which are very helpful in our job as teachers. 
In the afternoon, new speaker was Athene Aclan who talked about the 7S in housekeeping under division memo No.546. These 7’s are the things what one need to follow for housekeeping. She also emphasized the need to let go of things which are not needed inside the office and classroom.
The third day of the training was held at Anda Training Center. Dr. Ampler reiterated things about Housekeeping in the Principal’s office and provided the group with a checklist to follow. In the afternoon, Aclan was the first speaker and also discussed about the WASH and WINS program. Mrs. Luduvina Zamora, Brigada Eskwela best implementer shared her experiences as a principal about the Brigada Eskwela preparation and gave some tips on the implementation of the program. 
On day 4, Dr. Ampler spoke first and talked about Stakeholder Engagement Strategy under DepEd Memo. No. 036, s.2019. it was all about the preparedness of school and community in every disaster and with the partnership of DRMM. He also talked on how to engaged with stakeholders and what each stakeholder should and can do.
Day 5 remarks most because of the given chance to benchmark at the Schools Division Office I at Lingayen, Pangasinan. Great changes in the office starting from the new building and the setting had been observed. Photo opportunities were also made as a token and evidence for the benchmarking including the office of our SDS, Mdm. Sheila Marie Primicias.
The day 6 of the training was again held at Anda Integrated School. First speaker was Danae Cervera and talked about collaboration as a very important strategy as we face changes. 
On day 7 of the training, sharing of learnings and reflections on the given sessions were imparted among the group.
As a wrap, a challenge was given by Dr. Ampler to start having housekeeping and make every school safe and happy for everybody.
